The week in numbers
Between 2 and 8 August we tallied 48 distinct supplier requests. Home and kitchen led with nine mentions, apparel followed with seven, and toys and electronics with five each. Twenty requests named no product.
The US was named 13 times — its highest share of the log, better than one request in four — with Europe country-free at ten, and Germany and the UK at five each. Twelve requests named a delivery-time cap, ten used long-term-partnership language and six asked for branding or custom packaging. Only 13 requests named no destination at all: buyers this week knew where they were selling, even when they had not chosen what.
Day by day
- Sunday 2 August — 17 requests: toys and apparel led; the US named six times, the UK three.
- Tuesday 4 August — six requests: home and kitchen led; Italy named twice.
- Wednesday 5 August — nine requests across seven families, including supplements, sleep-comfort and auto accessories; the US and Europe named three times each.
- Thursday 6 August — nine requests: home and kitchen led, with pet supplies behind; the US named three times.
- Saturday 8 August — seven requests: sleep-comfort, apparel, bags and jewellery; Germany named twice.
What stood out
The US focus came with a structural ask attached: several buyers wanted US warehouse stock or domestic suppliers outright, so the delivery promise stops depending on a cross-border lane. UK TikTok Shop sellers made the same move for the same reason, citing the platform's four-day delivery expectation and asking for UK-held stock or a pay-per-order arrangement against it. Store-sync requirements kept their steady presence — several posts screened suppliers by integration capability before price.
Holding stock closer to the customer is a real answer with a real cost. The dropship, pre-stock or overseas-warehouse guide prices that decision honestly, and the multichannel fulfilment guide covers the platform rules that create those deadlines. The operations side of the same week is in the 2–8 August weekly wrap.
How this log is built
Requests are collected from public dropshipping sourcing communities and tallied by keyword into broad product families, named destinations and commercial terms. Posts are never quoted, linked or identified; contact details are never reproduced; exact products are generalised to their family. Posts without an exact timestamp are assigned to the earliest plausible day, so heavier days partly reflect when batches were collected rather than when each post was written. Counts are keyword tallies and understate paraphrased requests.
